a local host sponsor. The local host sponsor can be a local

Each workshop is designed to meet the needs of the local host
sponsor(s). The host sponsor works with CNU Florida to tailor
the workshop topic and structure to meet timely planning needs.
Role of CNU Florida
CNU Florida works with the local host organization(s) to plan
the program, recruits the most qualified workshop speakers,
briefs program speakers on local needs and expectations, assists
with program marketing, manages on-line registration on the
CNU Florida website, and oversees logistical and administrative
arrangements for the workshop
There are over 350 member of the CNU in Florida so the association
with CNU Florida brings instant credibility to the workshops
and attracts the expertise and influence of CNU Florida’s
many members.
Role of the Local
Host/Sponsor
The local host/sponsor agrees to work with CNU Florida to
select a program design that meets local needs, helps identify
an appropriate workshop venue, and markets the program to
target local organizations. The local host/sponsor is also
responsible for providing sufficient workshop funding, which
may include workshop registration fees. Workshop costs will
vary based on the number of speakers and participants.
Cost
The cost for a typical one-day workshop varies depending on
the topic and number and cost of speakers. Workshops are offered
free to residents of the sponsoring local government and at
a reduced price for CNU Florida members. Workshop fees can
be used to cover expenses, which typically include breakfast/lunch
for participants, travel and lodging of speakers, advertisement,
administrative, and organizational fees.
