Tallahassee Regional Group

CNU luncheon, Monday, May 17

On May 17, the Tallahassee Regional Group gathered at the Paradise Grill to learn from David B. Walmsley, CEO of K2 Urbancorp, about Genevieve Place, a 16-home community featuring 1920's style cottages and bungalows. Genevieve Place, participants learned, is an old style in-fill project and is being built to highlight New Urbanist principles. Rick Hall, Vice-Chair of the Florida CNU chapter, also brought the group up to date on progress toward forming a Florida CNU Chapter. The first annual Florida CNU Chapter conference is scheduled for January 13 - 14, 2005, at Rollins College in Winter Park.
